Cameron Bell

When asked why he chose to live in Northern BC, Cameron simply replies, “mountains, snow, and skiing”. After completing an Environmental Studies degree at UNBC, he spent two years in local government and economic development before committing to a career in agriculture. He has worked with farms, social enterprises, and urban agriculture consulting firms in BC and his home province of Ontario, and returned to the northwest in the fall of 2018. Terrace provided the ideal confluence of agricultural, recreational, and musical opportunities for Cam. He launched Farmer Cam's Foods in 2019.

Seasonal staff

Every year we hire and train a few more staff on the farm - some stay for one season, and we hope that some will stay for many seasons to come. Please contact us at cam@farmercamsfoods.ca if you are interested in working or volunteering with us!

Jon and Jaclyn Gagnon

Jaclyn and Jon Gagnon own Hidden Acres Farm and Treehouse Resort where Farmer Cam rents farmland. In addition to renting cabins and The Barn venue, and hosting Farm Fest every year in July, the Gagnons use natural growing methods to provide healthy food for their family, and occasionally sell seedlings, produce, and eggs at the farm or the market. They also grow a Pumpkin Patch every summer, check out Hidden Acres Farm and Treehouse Resort on social media for info!
